2012 Convention on Hold – 2012 Tourism Legislative Day a Go

Last year the CalARVC board decided to not hold a convention in 2012. The Board decided to support ARVC’s annual Outdoor Hospitality Conference which will be in Las Vegas, November 28-30. In the meantime, the CalARVC Board is working on plans for 2013. Later this spring, CalARVC will hold its annual Business Meeting in conjunction with a CalARVC Board Meeting. All members will be invited to attend.

CalARVC will once again be partnering with other sectors of the tourism industry to create awareness of the enormous impact tourism has in California. Please join us the afternoon of February 22 beginning with lunch with CalARVC’s lobbyists. Next we will join Visit California for a Policy Forum, providing legislative and policy updates on travel issues. Then CalARVC members are encouraged to visit their legislators. This is your chance to showcase your business and your industry. The day will conclude with a Legislative Reception and Premier of Dreamland, an inspirational new film chronicling a day in the life of innovative “True Californians.” This documentary will air on PBS stations throughout the US and key international markets.

Cost is only $20. If you are interested in attending, please email or call Mari Dudash our Director of Member Services. Please list the name of each attendee. We will send you an invoice for those attending.
