Promotion

CTPA Services, Inc. is contracted to do all the promotional activities for CalARVC members. There are a number of products from which to choose. Your support of these products helps to build the stability and effectiveness of your association.

CalARVC Promotional Products Available:

• California RV Travel & Camping Guide - Regular members receive a free listing that includes map, contact info & basic description. Extended Stay members receive a limited listing. 225,000 are distributed annually throughout four western states bringing new customers to your park. Display ads are available at discounted rates.
  
  

• Post an Event! An event in your park or in your local community can be included on Camp-California.com. Simply complete this form and your event could be featured in the next OutWest Express! This is free promotion for your park, and provides interesting content for Camp-California.com.

  Camp-California.com website - CalARVC maintains a consumer site for its member parks. Over 500,000 visitor sessions are anticipated for 2007. Promotional efforts are in place, increasing the number of visitors to the site each day.
  
  A variety of listing options are available through CalARVC’s website host, Friend Communications:
  Basic Listing - Duplicate of information published in the camping guide – included with CalARVC membership at no additional cost.
  Enhanced Listing - Includes more than six pages with photos and additional text, links to your own personal website and much more! Set-up fee required.
  Enhanced Listing with Online Reservations - Real-time, financially secure online reservation system. Parks with this feature receive additional marketing through other portals, i.e. Cruise America, El Monte Rentals, Bates RV Rental, Wildernet, Camping.com, GoCampingAmerica.com and more. Set-up fee required.
  
  
• OutWest Express e-newsletter - An electronic newsletter sent to more than 25,000 consumers, at least seven times a year encouraging RVers to hop in their RV and visit your park! Participating is simple; supply your email address so you can receive our info requests, and then provide event information of interest to RVers. Get additional exposure for your park and help create a stronger association website! Post an Event to be Featured!
  
  
• Brochure Distribution at Consumer Shows - CalARVC participates in RV shows throughout the year. Let us distribute your park's brochure, along with the annual guide at shows across California and the West.
  
  
• RVing Rewards - Gain additional promotion by offering discounts to consumers through CalARVC’s RVing Rewards. Each park establishes their own offer and any restrictions which are posted on the Camp-California.com website and included in the camping guide. Parks are also highlighted on the website by a “Featured Park” icon.
  
  
• California Visitor's Guide - CalARVC member parks can have a listing in the Official California Visitor's Guide published by the State of California at discounted rates.

Promotion Through ARVC:

The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds also hosts a consumer website on which member parks are included - www.GoCampingAmerica.com.

CalARVC & ARVC also provide member data for many other altas publications including DeLorme, Cabella, and National Geographic.

NEW!! Coming in 2007, we will be providing downloadable data to GPS navigation units including Garmin, etc.
